As all of you are recovering from last night's celebrations I want to use this post to wish you all a Happy New Year! 2013 has undoubtedly taught us invaluable lessons but I'm pretty sure we are now ready for a fresh start and another year to fill up with new memories.
I want to make this post a habit (like this one from last year) and by reminiscing 2013 pick out the peaks and pits of this past year. My peaks of the year. Probably my biggest one is graduating from my master's degree. This past year was quite major for me, I've pushed my limits, struggled a lot but looking back, all I have left is memories with amazing people that I will never ever forget. The pit of my year was a rather personal moment and I prefer to keep it that way, but let's say it has taught me to cherish and appreciate the people that are around me before it's too late.
As for 2014, well the truth is that I have no idea what it has in store for me. I'm leaving for NY soon and my life is bound to change. As excited as I am, I'm also terrified of this new chapter of my life and how my life is going to be, living in another country away from my family, friends and beloved ones. Saying goodbye is heartbreaking but I know that the people who are meant to stay in my life, will!
Last but not least, I want to thank you yet again for all the support that you constantly show for this blog. There's lots of exciting things coming up in 2014 and I wouldn't be able to do any of these without you!
I want to wish you all a Happy New Year! May this year bring you everything that you wish for - career, personal life, anything - but most importantly be filled with happiness, love and health.
