Best of LFW

As promised, here is the next “Best of” post with all the highlights from London Fashion Week :)

THE SHOWS

LFW in general was dominated by statement prints and feminine silhouettes. From Meadham Kirchoff’s Marie-Antoinette-inspired and luxurious garments, to Mary Katrantzou’s innovative prints (money, flowers and postage stamps) and all the way to Christopher Bailey’s shift away from Burberry’s staple (the famous trenchcoat) and towards alternative jacket silhouettes. Here are the shows that wowed the crowds!

STREET STYLE

As for street style, and as you are about to see yourselves, the fashionistas get crazier and more experimental when in London. No rules on how to mix & match their outfits. Their only objective is to have fun – and they seem like they are!

Oh, and it seems like the galaxy-inspired Balenciaga sweater is one of their LFW essentials!

P.S. This weekend I will be attending London Fashion Weekend – a post is coming up soon after that :)
